Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Buzzz Network (“Buzzz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile app (com.buzzz.network), website, and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you accept this Policy and our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

Account and profile

When you sign up or sign in, we may process:

  • Username, email address, and password (stored securely via our backend)
  • Google or Apple account identifiers if you use social sign-in
  • Optional referral / invite code and who referred you
  • Profile and progression data such as level, XP, Energy, BUZZZ balance, badges, notification preferences, and account status
  • Country and IP address associated with your account for security and product configuration

Device and technical data

  • Device type, operating system, app version, and language settings
  • Push notification device tokens (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
  • Network and security signals needed to operate and protect the Services
  • Advertising / attribution identifiers where permitted (for example Android advertising ID used by AppsFlyer)

Usage and product activity

  • Mining, Energy, tasks, Claim Boxes, team activity, pings, and news interactions
  • Login, session, and anti-abuse signals
  • Push delivery / open / preference events used to improve notifications
  • Website page views and CTA interactions (if analytics tags are present)

Referral and deep-link data

If you invite others or install via an invite link (including go.buzzz.network / AppsFlyer OneLink), we may associate that invite with accounts for eligibility, rewards, and fraud prevention.

Communications

If you email support or safety contacts, or join official community channels, we process the information you send so we can respond. Community platforms have their own privacy terms.

What we do not collect by default

The current app does not request contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or photo-library access for core mining features. We do not operate in-app chat or public user posts as a primary product surface today. Payment-card processing and in-app purchases are not part of the current client.

2. How we use information

  • Create and manage accounts, sessions, and OTP verification
  • Operate mining, rewards, teams, tasks, news, and notifications
  • Detect and prevent fraud, multi-accounting, referral abuse, and security threats
  • Measure installs and invite attribution (AppsFlyer)
  • Improve performance, reliability, and product experience
  • Communicate service notices and respond to support or safety reports
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms and Child Safety Standards

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us run the product — for example Firebase (push), AppsFlyer (attribution), Google / Apple (sign-in), hosting, and infrastructure for node.buzzz.network
  • Legal and safety partners when required by law, legal process, or to protect users (including CSAE-related reports to authorities such as NCMEC where applicable)
  • Business transfers if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to appropriate protections

4. Cookies and local storage

The website may use essential cookies or local storage to keep the site working. The mobile app stores session tokens, cached profile data, language, notification preferences, and similar state on your device (for example via SharedPreferences) so you can stay signed in and use the product offline of network delays.

5. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain security and anti-abuse systems, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. If you delete your account (in-app Settings → Delete Account → email OTP), we remove account and associated account data within 30 days after confirmation, except information we must retain for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons (which may be retained in limited form).

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transit and access controls on production systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for protecting your password and device access.

7. International users

Buzzz is offered globally. Your information may be processed or stored in countries other than where you live. By using the Services, you understand that those jurisdictions may have different data-protection laws.

8. Children’s privacy

The Services are directed to users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 (and in no event under 13). If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it and may disable the account. Parents or guardians who believe a minor has used Buzzz should contact safety@buzzz.network. Full standards are published in our Child Safety Standards.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to certain processing. You can update many profile details in the app, and you can request account deletion as described on our Delete Account page. For other privacy requests, email support@buzzz.network. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

10. Third-party links

The Services may link to social platforms (for daily follow tasks), stores, or other external sites. Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before sharing information with them.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date when we post changes. Continued use of the Services after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
